Thanks to all of you who worked so hard to make this year's Paws for Cocktails a success! Some of our volunteers took vacation days to help set up for this event, and others put in weeks of work collecting donations for our silent and live auction. A special thanks goes out to our auctioneers, Kelly and Alpha of B98.5 who did a fabulous job of showcasing our amazing live auction items. This was a new addition to our event this year, and quite a success! |

Also enjoyed by all was the silent auction, which was bursting at the seams with over 180 fabulous finds and great bargains. The raffle table was a huge success as well this year with tons of great prizes. Overall, the event made about $30,000 for Atlanta Pet Rescue that will go to support the operating expenses for the upcoming year. Thank you all - guests, volunteers, shoppers, set up crew, clean up crew, greeters, check out table staff - you all worked hard to make it possible! Darling Dog seeks Devotion Hi there! I’m Lolly. I am a sweet-natured four year old, 55-pound Terrier mix. I am housebroken, leash trained and come when called. I simply adore playing with other dogs and I am wonderful with children of all ages. I would do best in a home without cats as my terrier urges make me want to chase them. I try not to, but it’s just so much fun. My favorite pastimes include car rides, playing with stuffed animals and tennis balls, and long walks. My foster mom says I am sweet, affectionate, and very calm, but that I do have lots of energy in the mornings and when she first returns home. My personality and temperament make me perfect for almost any home. I never beg when it is time for my people to eat. And I live to get attention - I will lie down and roll over for a belly rub anytime. You don’t even have to ask! Give me a chance to show you what a joy I am to have around!!
